Made to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the City of Vancouver, this cube was commissioned by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival.

This sculpture illustrates the number 125 in its physical form.

ie: fabricated the cube with the help of hundreds of children over the course of the Vancouver Children’s Festival by turning their studio into a workshop. Each child was tasked with painting a dowel or a cube that was eventually used to construct the 125 Cube.
