Coming Home, 2014
cut, shaped, welded, machined and polished stainless steel, with water powered kinetic design
14’ high x 20’ wide
North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Coming Home celebrates the life cycle of salmon. In particular this sculpture represents the act of fighting upstream in order to spawn and thus create the next generation of fish.
This outdoor water sculpture welcomes residents and reminds them of the natural environment that came before and the river that has been restored.
